    If you are in Sumner county it's always a good idea to stop by Crutcher Lake. Crutcher Lake is a pretty wet place commonly with a lot of rainfall; through March this area sees the most rain; the driest of the months is October. Why not camp at Holiday Rest Family Campground while you're here at Crutcher Lake, and at Crutcher Lake Dam close to Crutcher Lake there are some exciting things to see. There's just no way somebody can get bored here at Crutcher Lake.  
   If you're stopping by Crutcher Lake from Nashville-Davidson—Murfreesboro, you won't be the only one; a quick spree to Brinkley Branch is absolutely a wonderful idea.
After a long day outdoors Holiday Inn Express Nashville-Hendersonville, Tn is a glorious location to spend a night or two, and if you came for an overnight stay Nashville Country RV Park is a perfect location to camp.                Hendersonville. Lakes are fine; Norman Lake is a lake that's close to Crutcher Lake.
You're probably into lakes, Crutcher Lake is one of those close by, and whitewater paddling is pleasant on Bledsoe Creek. All through the summer months, highs mostly are in the 80's at Crutcher Lake. Summer night lows sink down to the 60's. High temperatures through the wintertime are normally in the 40's, and throughout the dark hours in the wintertime at Crutcher Lake temperatures descend to the 20's.

Two Rivers Campgrounds

Small, well kept campground that is privately owned and operated. Owners on site most of the time. During the season there is free live entertainment two or three nights a weeks. Always free coffee in the office for visitors. Front desk staff is friendly and can help you plan your stay in Nasvhille. Tours and show tickets available at the front desk as well.

Lesters Lake is no longer there. It was drained years ago after a girl was killed swimming there when she swam into an area inhabited by cottonmouth snakes and was bitten several times....Do you remember swimming at Lesters Lake...1970...?...

Bledsoe Creek

Bledsoe creek was a real let down. The only time to go to this is if there has been atleast one inch of rain the previous day before you go. When we got there it was a dried up creek bed so there was no rafting for us that day; we just had to settle on practicing our rolls....
