Crawley Pond is excellent!. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's       for you then we recommend French Broad, and you're in all probability keen on lakes, Scruggs Pond is one of those nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Yogi Bear's Jellystone Camp is a great campground nearby, and playing golf is lots of fun at Smoky MTN Country Club & Grill. All the water falling down from the sky makes Crawley Pond a wet place; May is when you get the most rain here, and October is when it's the driest. A short trip to Burnett Spring is                  always worthwhile; why not take a refreshing hike along the Stone Mountain Trail. Nearby lakes?
