Craighead Lake is a pretty wet place regularly with a good deal of rainfall; of all the months in a year March is the one with the most rain, and October on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Motor
Inns of America is a perfect place to get some rest, and Craighead Lake is fine enough to spend more than a day at, Little Tellico Campground is a fine local campground. If you came to camp Knights Inn is a perfect place to do that,
and the panorama of charming Hiwassee Knobs is fine.
Whohoo, so many cool things in one place! Craighead Lake rules! Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always stop by close by Ballard Mill Lead Mine Pond, and if
you're a golfer then a splendid close by course is Madisonville Golf Course. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Craighead Lake. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 60's. High temperatures through the winter
are normally in the 40's, and after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Craighead Lake drop into the 20's.
