High temperatures at Craig Lake through the months of summer are in the 80's while overnight lows are ordinarily in the 60's. For the duration of the winter the highs are regularly in the 40's, and nighttime lows at Craig Lake throughout the winter frequently dip into the 20's. So many cool things to do at Craig Lake, so little time. There's some flowing water nearby, Brush Creek is a stream       you can stop at during your stay. Dry warm beds await you at Super 8 Motel; camping at Rau-wood Retreat Center is always a glorious experience. Craig Lake usually gets much rainfall; the month of March is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest of the months is October. Near Craig Lake you stumble on a golf course called Cliff View Golf Course, and Craig Lake Dam is a beautiful site. This lake is so wonderful. If you come at the right time of                  year, Little Harpeth River offers some good whitewater, and Buffalo Gap is a glorious place to spend some time.
