Cove Lake is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. This lake is so wonderful. This is a popular spot for people from Knoxville. Short Mountain is clearly visible from Cove Lake, and a quick trip to Fourmile Creek is definitely a great idea. The high level of precipitation makes Cove Lake a reasonably wet place; March is the month that gets the most rain, and October on the other hand is the driest.

Camping is available at Jake Best Campground; a nice nearby hotel is Luxbury Inn and Suites. Go for a hike on the Mill Branch Trail; you might also want to pay a visit to Bryant Hollow since you're here at Cove Lake.

adventure; float down the rapids of Citico Creek in a kayak. Through the days of summer at Cove Lake temperatures are ordinarily in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 60's. Throughout the winter highs
are mostly in the 40's, and through the dark hours in the wintertime at Cove Lake temperatures drop to the 20's. Near Cove Lake you find the Crowder Branch Trail which is a nice hiking trail, and Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Alcoa (Knoxville Airport), Tn is a delightful site to get some rest.
