Cooper Pond is a lake worth visiting. The warmest time of the year at Cooper Pond comes with high temperatures in the 80's. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 60's. Throughout the winter this place gets highs in the 40's; nighttime lows in the 20's for Cooper Pond. If you want a wonderful time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Cooper Pond. | | great place for that; at Cooper Pond you can see Smith Knob. If you came to camp Charit Creek Campground is a nice spot to do that, and Newport Dam is a site that is next to Cooper Pond.

South Fork National River & Recreation Area is reasonably near. If you have a thing about the outdoors you'll have a thing about it here in the Cumberland Plateau Mountains. If you don't mind getting wet, you can always go whitewater
paddling on New River, and going for a hike on the Hidden Passage Trail is always a brilliant adventure.
A great close by hotel is Holiday Inn Express Whitley City, Ky. This lake is one of the great places here in the Cumberland
Plateau Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. Near Cooper Pond you discover a golf course called Oneida Golf & Country Club; if you've had enough of Cooper Pond, Carter Lake is nearby.

near Cooper Pond is Pine Creek, and swing by Ails Branch it's a wonderful site to stop at. You'll in fact wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the fun stuff in the Cumberland Plateau Mountains. Near Cooper Pond you discover the
