A wonderful site to camp here at Combs Pond is Banks Farms Campground, and if you're here you can take a hike along the Trail of the Lonesome Pine. If you're a golfer then a great close by course is Andrew Johnson Golf Club. If you want a little side trip, try Ramsey Hollow, and during your tour here you'll meet some folks from Greeneville for sure. Super 8 Motel is a pleasant       site to get some rest, and hey, Hartman Branch is a glorious local stream. So much fun stuff to do here at Combs Pond, too magnificent to be true. If you need a spot to stay Comfort Inn is a good choice, and if the weather is delightful, you can go for a hike along the Tweed Trail. For the duration of the warm months highs here at Combs Pond reach the 80's with overnight lows in the 60's. For the period of the winter the highs are usually in the 40's while Combs Pond                  overnight low temperatures during the wintertime are in the 20's. Why not camp at Houston Valley Campground if you're here at Combs Pond, and French Broad is a magnificent whitewater spot nearby.
