Collins Lakes is a pretty wet place typically with a great deal of rainfall; the wettest month of the year is typically March, that's the one that rains the most; September is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Collins Lakes is a location with many visitors from Columbia, and why not take a little trip to Alf Loftin Branch if you're here. For the period of the warm months at Collins       Lakes temperatures are ordinarily in the 80's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 60's. High temperatures during the wintertime are normally in the 40's; after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Collins Lakes plunge into the 20's. That right there is plenty already, but it carries on; Collins Lakes has it all. Kings Creek Golf Club is a delightful golf course close by. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Collins Lakes                  has to offer, you can camp at Traveler's RV Park, and needless to say, A tour to Cranford Hollow is always fun. Jackson Knob is clearly visible from Collins Lakes, and after a long day outdoors Country Hearth Inn Columbia is a glorious spot to spend a night or two.
