Collier Lake is magnificent enough to spend more than a day at, Chickasaw State Park is a magnificent local campground, and if you want to play some golf, you're in luck because Jones Creek Golf Course is nearby. Through the long summer days at Collier Lake temperatures are usually in the 80's. Through the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 60's. For the duration of the wintertime       the highs are typically in the 40's while Collier Lake night low temperatures during the wintertime are in the 20's. This place, Collier Lake, it completely has so much outdoors entertaining stuff. Lots of people from Jackson come to Collier Lake. Collier Lake gets a large amount of water; the wettest month of the year is generally December, that's the one that rains the most while October is ordinarily the driest month. There's so much to do here at Collier Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Parkway Village Mobile Home is a nice place for that, and nearby you discover the Fern Loop Nature Trail which is a good hiking trail. This lake is so wonderful.
