Throughout the long summer days highs here at Collier Lake reach the 80's. During the moonlight hours it's mostly in the 60's. All through       the winter highs are frequently in the 40's; winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Collier Lake. For you golfers we recommend nearby Jones Creek Golf Course; if the weather is wonderful, you can go for a hike along the Lakeshore Nature Trail. The high level of rain makes Collier Lake a relatively wet site; the month with most of the rain is December; October is the month with the least moisture. Chickasaw State Park is a fine local campground, and since                  you're here you can take a hike along the Fern Loop Nature Trail. While you're here at Collier Lake you will meet lots of people from nearby Jackson; if you get bored of Collier Lake you could also go to close by Lake DeForest. If you need a place to stay Courtyard Jackson is a magnificent choice. This lake is so wonderful.
