This lake is so wonderful. You're sure to encounter some good folks from Tullahoma here; not far from Clifftops Lake you'll locate Day Lake which is a pretty lake. On a great day at Clifftops Lake you can take a hike along the Winding Stairs; a perfect close by hotel is Best Western Smokehouse Lodge. This lake is so wonderful. Big Fiery Gizzard Creek is a brilliant whitewater spot near Clifftops Lake; there is a great       hiking trail nearby called the River Mont Cave Historical Trail. A good deal of rain falls at Clifftops Lake; the wettest month of the year is regularly March, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest month is August. For the duration of the summer months at Clifftops Lake highs are usually in the 80's. Summer overnight lows drop down to the 60's. During the winter highs are ordinarily in the 40's while Clifftops Lake nighttime low temperatures                  throughout the wintertime are in the 20's. Visit Falls Branch if you're here at Clifftops Lake. Clifftops Lake Dam is not far at all from Clifftops Lake; a pleasant location to camp here at Clifftops Lake is Laurel Trails Campground. And if that's not sufficient, there's lots more to do close to Clifftops Lake. You can run the rapids of Little Fiery Gizzard Creek close to Clifftops Lake; Smoke House Restaurant is a good spot to get some rest. Looking for a delightful visit? Russell Cave National Monument is relatively close to Clifftops Lake, and camping is available at Kimball Campground.
