There's whitewater on Crab Orchard Creek for all you adrenaline people, and Claude Reed Lake is a location with many visitors from Harriman. The wintertime comes with highs in the 40's, and overnight lows at Claude Reed Lake through the wintertime usually fall into the       20's. Rodeway Inn & Suites Harriman is a nice place to get some rest It's always delightful to stop by Bolden Spring. This lake is so wonderful. The scenery at Claude Reed Dam right next door to Claude Reed Lake is pretty, and Caney Creek Recreational Vehicle Resort is a glorious campground nearby. Life's too short to enjoy all the entertaining things                  right next door to Claude Reed Lake. An afternoon playing golf at Rockwood Golf & Country Club is always a bliss. Claude Reed Lake is a relatively wet place commonly with a large amount of precipitation; March is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest month of the year is October. Claude Reed Lake is a beautiful lake in the Cumberland Plateau Mountains. A nice nearby hotel is Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites HARRIMAN, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Piney Creek. This lake is so wonderful. Kingston Koa Kampground and Marina is a splendid local campground, and don't forget to take a nice little journey to Barnard Narrows Branch. You think that's enough? Just getting warmed up.
