Mans Hollow is a great spot to spend some time at, and Quality Inn Harriman is a perfect site to get some rest. Claude Reed Lake is one of the lakes here in the Cumberland Plateau Mountains. Bolden Spring is always fun to check out, and Crab Orchard Creek has a delightful whitewater paddling spot close by. Edgemon Lake is a nearby lake that you could take a look at, also Claude       Reed Dam is worth taking a look at while you're here. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors amusing stuff the area in the vicinity of Claude Reed Lake has to offer. Johnson Bend is an interesting location to explore while at Claude Reed Lake. There's so much to do here at Claude Reed Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Kingston Koa Kampground and Marina is a splendid spot for that. This lake is so wonderful. If you came to camp Caney Creek                  Recreational Vehicle Resort is a perfect spot to do that; why not a little side journey to Barnard Narrows Branch. A round of golf at nearby Rockwood Golf & Country Club is a glorious way to kill some time; during your trip here you'll meet some folks from Harriman for sure. This lake is so wonderful. There's glorious hiking along the Fooshee Pass Trail, and a lake close by is Rose Bailey Lake. Yep, outdoors exciting stuff truly is plentiful here in the Cumberland Plateau Mountains. If you need a place to stay Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites HARRIMAN is a great choice, and if you don’t have a problem getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Piney Creek. At Claude Reed Lake all through the long summer days highs are in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 60's. Daytime highs during the winter are in the 40's while Claude Reed Lake overnight low temperatures during the wintertime are in the 20's.
