This lake is one of the great places here in the Great Smoky Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. Paddling on Turtletown Creek is so much fun, and camping is available at Lakewood Landing Campground. Don't you try to stop me, cause I'm havin' a splendid time here at City Services Diversion Lake. City Services Diversion Dam is worth taking a look at if you're here, and a glorious sight of lovely Ketchersid Mountain       is available. Man, is there a load of amusing things to do in the Great Smoky Mountains. Fightingtown Creek flows through this area; locations like Copper Basin are glorious to go to. City Services Diversion Lake gets a large amount of water; during March this area sees the most rain, and October is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful. A good site to camp here at City Services Diversion Lake is Lake Blue Ridge Campground, and you                  can go for a hike on the Dry Pond Lead Trail. High temperatures at City Services Diversion Lake throughout the summer months are in the 80's with night lows in the 60's. All through the wintertime the highs are usually in the 40's; all through the dark hours in the winter at City Services Diversion Lake temperatures fall to the 20's. Ocoee River has a splendid whitewater paddling spot nearby. So much enjoyable stuff to do here in the Great Smoky Mountains, too glorious to be true. Copper Basin Golf Club is a perfect golf course nearby, and if you need a spot to stay Ducktown Copper Inn is a great choice. A lake nearby is City Services Rention Pond, and going for a hike on the Rock Creek Trail is always a wonderful adventure.
