Chickamauga Lake is a lake worth visiting. There's nice hiking along the Hardy Trail, and Chickamauga Dam is not far at all from Chickamauga Lake. There's whitewater on Cooper Creek for all you thrill seekers, and camping at Holiday Trav-L-Park of Chattanooga is always a splendid experience. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Hampton Inn is a good site to spend a night or two; Chickamauga Shoals is also a great site to explore.

| | is unbeatable, just check out all the entertaining stuff to do right next door to Chickamauga Lake. The Lookout Creek Trail offers hiking at its best, and not far from Chickamauga Lake you'll hit upon Lake Junior which is a gorgeous lake. A good deal of precipitation falls at Chickamauga Lake; throughout March this area sees the most rain, and the driest of the months is October. Any time is a brilliant time at Chickamauga Lake if you like the outdoors.

Lake is right by the Skyuka Trail, and you'll almost certainly meet some people from Chattanooga here. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Falling Water Creek; Creeks Bend Golf Club is a golf
course nearby. North Chickamauga Creek is a good local stream, and if you came to camp Cedar Creek Mobile Home Park is a wonderful location to do that.
This lake is so wonderful. You must check out Chickamauga Boat Harbor when
you're here at Chickamauga Lake; a pleasant nearby hotel is Country Inn & Suites By Carlson-Chattanooga North at Hwy 153. High temperatures at Chickamauga Lake during the warm days of summer are in the 80's with nighttime lows in
the 60's. Through the winter the highs are generally in the 40's; through the dark hours in the winter at Chickamauga Lake temperatures dip to the 20's.
