A short tour to Byrd Spring is always worthwhile, and there are plenty of folks from Morristown here. Cherokee Dam is a location that is next to Cherokee Lake; Econo Lodge Jefferson City is a perfect spot to get some rest. If the weather is tremendous here at Cherokee Lake, you can go for a hike along the Bunches Trace. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Cherokee Lake has to offer, you can       camp at May Springs Campground. This lake is so wonderful. You get a good vista of Combs Knob from Cherokee Lake, and an afternoon playing golf at Lost Creek Golf Club is always a delight. This is a great region for people who like lakes. Long Pond is a lake in the vicinity; some nearby water includes Black Oak Creek. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Cherokee Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Greenlee Campground is a delightful                  spot for that, and dry warm beds await you at Dandridge Super 8 Motel. Not sufficient hours in a day to enjoy this site. Great Smoky Mountains National Park is a nice local destination here at Cherokee Lake; if you're here, you might as well go to Combs Shoals. Summertime highs at Cherokee Lake frequently tend to be in the 80's, and the nighttime is a bit chillier of course, ordinarily in the 60's. Through the winter highs are in the 40's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Cherokee Lake. Cherokee Lake mostly gets a lot of rainfall; July is the wettest month with most rain, and September meanwhile is the driest month.   Econo Lodge Jefferson City, Jefferson City 8 miles away The Econo Lodge is located at the base of the Smoky Moutains and area lakes.
