    A visit to Cheek Lake is always a good idea. The scenery at Cheek Dam close to Cheek Lake is beautiful, and Cheek Lake is a splendid lake close by. Whitewater paddling is brilliant on Little Harpeth River. This lake is so wonderful. At Cheek Lake you always meet someone from Nashville-Davidson—Murfreesboro. There's so much to do here at Cheek Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Nashville Koa Kampground is a glorious spot for that.
If you need a spot
 
   to stay Best Western Suites Near Opryland is a good choice, and Springhouse Golf Club at Gaylord Opryland Resort is a golf course nearby. Summertime highs at Cheek Lake commonly tend to be in the 80's. Through the moonlight hours it's frequently in the 60's. Through the winter the highs are ordinarily in the 40's, and night lows all through the winter for Cheek Lake tend to be in the 20's. If you came to camp Two Rivers Campgrounds is a pleasant place to do  
               that, and some of the water close by flows, like Gibson Creek.
So much amusing stuff to do at Cheek Lake, so little time. Dry warm beds await you at Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites NASHVILLE-OPRYLAND; lakes are such calm sites, why not have a look at Cedar Hill Lake. Cheek Lake sees pretty high levels of rainfall; of all the months in a year March is the one with the most rain, and the driest of the months is October.

Two Rivers Campgrounds
Small, well kept campground that is privately owned and operated. Owners on site most of the time. During the season there is free live entertainment two or three nights a weeks. Always free coffee in the office for visitors. Front desk staff is friendly and can help you plan your stay in Nasvhille. Tours and show tickets available at the front desk as well.

No Tent Camping

104 RV sites with water, electric only OR water, electric and sewer.

Pets are allowed but you are required to keep them on a lease and pick up their messes.

Campfires are not allowed unless in a covered container that is off the ground.

There is a convenience store and a gift shop on the premeises.

A full service grocery store (Krogers) is close by.

There is a pool which is open from May thru October. No lifeguard is on duty.

Lesters Lake
Lesters Lake is no longer there. It was drained years ago after a girl was killed swimming there when she swam into an area inhabited by cottonmouth snakes and was bitten several times....Do you remember swimming at Lesters Lake...1970...?...
