     Some nearby water includes Gibson Creek, and perhaps you're looking for close by lakes? Sure, Cheek Lake is just a very short distance away. There's some exciting stuff to distinguish at Cheek Dam right next door to Cheek Lake, and dry warm beds await you at Best Western Suites Near Opryland. This lake is so wonderful. Two Rivers Campgrounds is a good campground nearby, and Springhouse Golf Club at Gaylord Opryland Resort is a wonderful golf course nearby. If  
   you come at the right time of year, Little Harpeth River offers some great whitewater.
All through the warmest time of the year, highs mostly are in the 80's at Cheek Lake. Summer nighttime lows descend down to the 60's. Daytime highs throughout the winter are in the 40's while the cold winter nights at Cheek Lake are in the 20's. If you came for an overnight stay Nashville Koa Kampground is a great site to camp, and there are plenty of folks from Nashville-Davidson—Murfreesboro
 
               here at Cheek Lake. All the water falling down from the sky makes Cheek Lake a wet place; the month with most of the rain is March, and October is when it's the driest.
Be careful coming to Cheek Lake, you might not ever wanna go home again. This is a brilliant neighborhood for people who like lakes. Cedar Hill Lake is a lake around here; Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites NASHVILLE-OPRYLAND is a tremendous site to get some rest.

Two Rivers Campgrounds
Small, well kept campground that is privately owned and operated. Owners on site most of the time. During the season there is free live entertainment two or three nights a weeks. Always free coffee in the office for visitors. Front desk staff is friendly and can help you plan your stay in Nasvhille. Tours and show tickets available at the front desk as well.

No Tent Camping

104 RV sites with water, electric only OR water, electric and sewer.

Pets are allowed but you are required to keep them on a lease and pick up their messes.

Campfires are not allowed unless in a covered container that is off the ground.

There is a convenience store and a gift shop on the premeises.

A full service grocery store (Krogers) is close by.

There is a pool which is open from May thru October. No lifeguard is on duty.

There is a game room with video games and a pool table. ...

Lesters Lake
Lesters Lake is no longer there. It was drained years ago after a girl was killed swimming there when she swam into an area inhabited by cottonmouth snakes and was bitten several times....Do you remember swimming at Lesters Lake...1970...?...
