Here at Chaney Lake there are plenty of folks from Brownsville, and a lake close by is Bond Cutoff Lake. Chaney Lake usually gets a lot of rain; during the month of December you get the most rain around here, and August meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. A good place to camp here at Chaney Lake is Joyners Campground, and after a long day outdoors Countryside Inn is a great place       to spend a night or two. At Chaney Lake during the summer highs are in the 90's with nighttime lows in the 60's. Through the winter the highs are frequently in the 40's, and night lows throughout the winter for Chaney Lake tend to be in the 20's.
