The beauty of Carson Pond is reason enough to stop by. Whitewater paddling is perfect on Tellico River; if you came for an overnight stay Tellico Plains Koa is a good location to camp. Carson Pond sees pretty high levels of precipitation; the month with most of the rain is March while October is ordinarily the driest month. There are splendid places to explore along the Ivy Trail, and why not camp at Little Tellico Campground since you're here at Carson Pond.

| | lake is so wonderful. Henderson Branch is a glorious location to visit, and if you're visiting from Athens, you won't be the only one. For the period of the warm days of summer at Carson Pond temperatures are commonly in the 80's. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 60's. Throughout the wintertime highs are mostly in the 40's while the cold winter nights at Carson Pond are in the 20's. This lake is so wonderful.

a perfect hiking trail right next door to Carson Pond called the Conasauga Falls Trail; get drenched paddling on Wildcat Creek. Going for a hike on the Conasauga Falls Trail is always a delightful adventure, and Town & Country Motel
is a tremendous location to get some rest. If only every location had this much outdoors exciting things, what a great earth it would be. Why not spend some time golfing at a nearby golf course like Madisonville Golf Course, and a tremendous nearby hotel is Motor Inns of America.
