    If you are in this part of Tennessee make sure to pay a visit to Carol Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Monteagle-Days Inn, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Savage Creek. If you need a place to stay Best Western Smokehouse Lodge is a good choice, and needless to say Firescald Creek flows through this neighborhood. If you want a wonderful time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Cumberland Plateau Mountains. The cheerful  
   people of McMinnville like to hang out close by; do pop by Carol Dam if you're here.
Whohoo, so many enjoyable things in one place! Carol Lake is peerless!. All the water falling down from the sky makes Carol Lake a wet location; most of the rain falls through March while October is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is located in the wonderful Cumberland Plateau Mountains.
During the warm months here at Carol Lake, high temperatures
 
               commonly reach the 80's. During the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 60's. High temperatures all through the wintertime are normally in the 40's while Carol Lake overnight low temperatures through the winter are in the 20's. If you come at the right time of year, Little Fiery Gizzard Creek offers some nice whitewater, and a wonderful spot to camp here at Carol Lake is Laurel Trails Campground.
