Horseshoe Bend is an attention-grabbing thing to spot since you're here at Cantrell Pond. Cantrell Pond is great enough to spend more than a day at, Cherokee Lake Campground And Cabins is a great local campground, and you can have a great hiking adventure along the Trail of the Lonesome Pine. Cantrell Pond gets a large amount of water; the wettest month of the year is generally May, that's the one that       rains the most while October is mostly the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Heck Pond is a good lake near Cantrell Pond, and Holiday Inn Express Rogersville, Tn is a nice site to get some rest. After a long day outdoors Sandman Motel is a wonderful location to spend a night or two; naturally Bryant Branch flows through this area. Be careful coming to Cantrell Pond, you might not ever want to go home again.
