A round of golf at nearby Big Creek Golf Club is a great way to kill some time; if you need a place to stay River Inn of Harbor Town is a great choice. Camps Lakes sees pretty high levels of precipitation; the month of May is the wettest with most of the rain while August is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Memphis Mobile City is a       brilliant local campground, and there are other sites here than Camps Lakes, for example Camp Lake Number One. Throughout the warm days of summer highs here at Camps Lakes reach the 90's. Through the moonlight hours it's commonly in the 60's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 40's, and after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Camps Lakes dip into the 20's. But wait, there's more to do near Camps Lakes.
