Throughout the summertime months at Camp Tom Howard Lake highs are typically in the 80's. Summer nighttime lows descend down to the 60's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 40's with temperatures at Camp Tom Howard Lake dipping down into the 20's during winter       nights. If you're interested in hydro structures, you can stop at Camp Tom Howard Dam, and a lake close by is South Holston Lake. If you need a place to stay Comfort Suites Abingdon is a tremendous choice, and Lake Shore Campgrounds is a perfect local campground.
