Get your pulse rate up on the brilliant whitewater of Cheoah River, and the Stiffknee Trail is a splendid hiking trail close by. You don’t have to go far from Calderwood Lake to catch a glimpse of the water at Calderwood Dam; there is a magnificent hiking trail close by called the Big Stack Gap Branch Trail.
