Calderwood Lake is a lake worth visiting. A lot of rain falls at Calderwood Lake; the month with most of the rain is March; October is when it's the driest. During the warm months, highs usually are in the 80's at Calderwood Lake with night lows in the 60's. Daytime highs throughout the winter are in the 40's, and overnight lows in the 20's for Calderwood Lake. Now, you may assume that's plenty but there's even more amusing things to do here in the Great Smoky

| | Mountains. There's so much to do here at Calderwood Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Horse Cove Campground is a delightful spot for that; a glorious site for whitewater paddling is Slickrock Creek.
This lake is so wonderful. Good hiking is available along the Big Stack Gap Branch Trail, and from Calderwood Lake you acquire a great vista of Lakey Woods Knob. If you need a location to stay Highland Manor Inn And Conference Center is a fine choice, | |

and if you don’t have a problem getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Cheoah River. Nearby Shaw Grave Gap is a wonderful place to go if you're at Calderwood Lake, and as expected Boarhog Branch flows
through this area.
The Great Smoky Mountains scenery is always beautiful. This lake is so wonderful. Stay the night at Abrams Creek Campground, and lakes are such calm locations, why not have a look at Cheoah Valley Lake. Don't
leave Calderwood Lake without first going for a hike along the Stiffknee Trail.
If only every site had this much outdoors cool things, what a great earth it would be. Calderwood Dam has wonderful water scenery and it's in the
neighborhood of Calderwood Lake, and Calderwood Lake is a great lake close by. Whohoo, so many amusing things in one place! The Great Smoky Mountains is great! Hiking is a popular thing to do around Calderwood Lake; Fodderstack Trail is a nice local trail, and dry warm beds await you at Luxbury Inn and Suites.
