This trail with its waterfalls, caves, hemlock forests, rock formations and the unobstructed views of adjacent mountains that seem as if you could reach out and touch them make this a must see and at the top of my list. The trail is moderate/difficult depending on your pace. We started this 10 mile trail at 3:30 pm and finished it at 7:30pm with frequent 10 minute stops along the way but would not recommend this to someone not looking for a workout. This trail can be quite dangerous as you walk along cliff edges less then a foot from the trail. I would NOT recommend taking children on this trail. We hiked this trail in august on a cool day cloudy low 80's. ... |
