A tremendous close by hotel is Hilton Knoxville Airport, and in close proximity to Byerley Lake you stumble on a golf course called Green Meadow Country Club. Through the summertime here at Byerley Lake, high temperatures regularly get into the 80's while night lows are typically in the 60's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 40's, and after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Byerley Lake descend       into the 20's. There are great places to look at along the Little Bottoms Trail; a short trip to Lovingwood Spring is always worthwhile. This lake is so wonderful. Byerley Lake is splendid enough to spend more than a day at, Interdenominational Holiness Association Campground is a splendid local campground, and after a long day outdoors Mainstay Suites Knoxville Airport is a great place to spend a night or two. Byerley Lake sees pretty high levels of precipitation; the month                  with most of the rain is March, and the driest month is October. There's just no way someone can get bored here at Byerley Lake. Go for a hike on the Hannah Mountain Trail, and if you're looking for some flowing water? Try Cox Creek. This lake is so wonderful. If you don't mind getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Abrams Creek; a tremendous place close by is Dug Gap. The panorama of Logan Hill from Byerley Lake is stunning, and camping at Southlake RV Park is always a great experience. A magnificent place for whitewater paddling close to Byerley Lake is Little River, and Byerley Lake is not far at all from Knoxville.
