Butcher Lake is near Butcher Dam which is a lovely place unquestionably worth going to, and after a long day outdoors Travelodge Clinton is a brilliant place to spend a night or two. Have a perfect hiking adventure along       the Deer Trail, and some close by water includes Braden Branch. Hiking along the River Bluff Trail is great fun, and Powell Koa Kampground is a pleasant campground nearby. You can run the rapids of Little Emory River near Butcher Lake, and you could always explore Blacks Island Shoals. Butcher Lake is a pretty wet place typically with much rain; the month of March is the wettest with most of the rain while October is mostly the driest month. A golf course near Butcher Lake is Centennial Golf Course, and you acquire a great sight of Pilot Knob from here. This lake is so wonderful.
