    Many people like to go to Burns Lake. High temperatures at Burns Lake through the warm days of summer are in the 80's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 60's. Throughout the winter this place gets highs in the 40's while Burns Lake nighttime low temperatures throughout the wintertime are in the 20's. Burns Lake is right by the Laurel-Snow Trail; dry warm beds await you at Scottish Inns & Suites Dayton. Life's too short to enjoy all the fun stuff in the  
   Cumberland Plateau Mountains. Bracken Branch is a wonderful stream that is worth visiting, and Spencer Cove RV Park is a perfect campground here.
All the outdoors fun things in the neighborhood of Burns Lake will keep you coming back repeatedly. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Roaring Creek, and you might also want to pay a visit to Penitentiary Gulf since you're here at Burns Lake. This lake is so wonderful.
 
               There's whitewater on McGill Creek for all you adrenaline people, and Holiday Inn Express Dayton is a pleasant site to get some rest. So many entertaining things in the Cumberland Plateau Mountains, just impressive.
Burns Lake gets a good deal of water; March is the month that gets the most rain, and October meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is one of the great places here in the Cumberland Plateau Mountains. If you came for an overnight stay Blue water Campground is a splendid location to camp; Burns Lake Dam is a site that is in the neighborhood of Burns Lake.
