Burns Lake is a beautiful lake in the Cumberland Plateau Mountains. So much amusing stuff to do here in the Cumberland Plateau Mountains, too great to be true. If you're here at Burns Lake, you could explore Bracken Branch; lakes are such peaceful locations, why not take a look at Swafford Pond. Burns Lake gets lots of water; March is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest month is October.       This lake is so wonderful. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Roaring Creek. There's so much to do here at Burns Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Mountain Glen RV Park is a brilliant place for that. Just can't get enough of Burns Lake. If you need a spot to stay Holiday Inn Express Dayton is a magnificent choice; there are good spots to explore along the Laurel-Snow Trail. All year is a good time in the Cumberland Plateau Mountains if you fancy the                  outdoors. If you came to camp Blue water Campground is a tremendous place to do that; there are other sites here than Burns Lake, for example Pine Lake. This lake is so wonderful. You don’t have to go far from Burns Lake to see the water at Burns Lake Dam, and a great place to visit close by is Penitentiary Gulf. Throughout the summer here at Burns Lake, high temperatures mostly reach the 80's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 60's. Through the wintertime highs are frequently in the 40's while Burns Lake nighttime low temperatures during the winter are in the 20's.
