If you want a good time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Burcham Pond. Camping at Traveler's RV Park is always a pleasant experience. Throughout the summertime highs here at Burcham Pond reach the 80's. Summer night lows sink down to the 60's. During the winter the highs are mostly in the 40's while Burcham Pond nighttime low temperatures through the winter are in the 20's. This lake is so wonderful.       Not far from Burcham Pond, you'll come across Tailings Pond Number Eight which is a lovely lake, and lots of folks from Columbia come here. Burcham Pond is a wet location that gets lots of precipitation; December is the wettest month with most rain; the driest month is October. If you need a spot to stay Stone Brook Inn is a delightful choice, and needless to say Cold Branch is a beautiful stream that is worth going to. Dry warm beds await you at Jameson                  Inn Columbia, and no need to travel far to have a look at attention-grabbing stuff like Cave Bluff.
