Buck Creek Lake is one of the lakes here in the Cumberland Plateau Mountains. All the water falling down from the sky makes Buck Creek Lake a wet location; during the month of March you get the most rain around here, and October on the other hand is the driest. Camping is available at Spring Valley RV Park; lots of people from Crossville come here. This lake is so wonderful. Cookeville       Knights Inn is a pleasant place to get some rest; you can run the rapids of Clifty Creek. Caney Fork is a great whitewater spot right next door to Buck Creek Lake. Summertime highs at Buck Creek Lake typically tend to be in the 80's. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 60's. For the duration of the winter highs are in the 40's, and night lows in the 20's for Buck Creek Lake. These mountains rock, just look at all the                  amusing stuff to do in the Cumberland Plateau Mountains.
