Brushy Mountain Reservoir is a fine spot to visit for more than one day, Windrock Campground is a fine spot to camp nearby, and the summit of Big Fodderstack can be spotted from Brushy Mountain Reservoir. months of summer highs here at Brushy Mountain Reservoir get into the 80's, and all through summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. Throughout the winter the highs are mostly in the 40's with temperatures at Brushy Mountain Reservoir
dipping down into the 20's all through winter nights. That right there is a load of entertaining stuff already but it goes on, the Cumberland Plateau Mountains has it all. Barley Mouth Branch is one of the streams close by that
might be worth checking out, and don't leave Brushy Mountain Reservoir without first checking out Wagon Rock. You believe that's sufficient? Just getting warmed up. Paddling on Emory River is so much fun, and a nice close by hotel
is Knoxville-Days Inn Oak Ridge. The high level of rain makes Brushy Mountain Reservoir a quite wet place; March is the wettest month with most rain, and October meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Do pay
a visit to Obed Wild & Scenic River while you're here at Brushy Mountain Reservoir, and Armes Gap is a nice spot to check out.
