A short tour to Rockholt Spring is always worthwhile, and nearby you come across fine locations like Harmon Hollow. Much rain falls at Breeden Pond; March is when you get the most rain here, and the driest month is October. If you came for an overnight stay Cottonport Fish N Camp is a good site to camp; if you need a site to stay Rice Inn is a tremendous choice. Breeden Pond       in fact is in the middle of a striking outdoors paradise. Cotton Port Marina and Campground is a great campground here, and in the event that you don’t have a problem getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Moccasin Creek. This lake is so wonderful. There's fine hiking along the Laurel-Snow Trail. Breeden Pond is not far at all from Athens; playing golf is lots of fun at Lakehaven Golf & Country Club. Throughout the long summer days                  here at Breeden Pond, high temperatures frequently reach the 80's, and through the night it cools down to the 60's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 40's, and overnight lows all through the wintertime for Breeden Pond tend to be in the 20's. Relax Inn is a brilliant place to get some rest; Piney River is a perfect whitewater spot close by.
