Boone Lake is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. Dry warm beds await you at La Quinta Kingsport; why not stop at nearby Cedar Creek while you're here at Boone Lake. There's delightful hiking along the Old Dug Trail, and Shannon Knob is beautiful and can be seen from here. This lake is so wonderful. Near Boone Lake you discover a golf course called Crockett's Ridge Golf Club, and Boone Dam has great water scenery.

During the warmest time of the year here at Boone Lake, high temperatures usually reach the 80's, and the night is quite colder of course, mostly in the 60's. than a day at, Rocky Top Campground is a great local campground, and drift down the rapids of Watauga in a kayak.
You'll meet a lot of people from Kingsport-Bristol here, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Big Moccasin Creek.
There's so much to do here at Boone Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Bristol-kingsport Koa Kampground is a good site for that; don't leave Boone Lake without first going for a hike along the Pinnacle Tower Trail. And that's
not all you can do here at Boone Lake.
Lots of precipitation falls at Boone Lake; July is the month that gets the most rain while October is ordinarily the driest month. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors amusing stuff
the area near Boone Lake has to offer. The Patty Ridge Trail offers hiking at its best, and you have to beyond doubt check out Buzzard Cliff while you're here.
