And if that's not sufficient, there's a load more to do in the vicinity of Blue Hole. Stay the night at Kimball Campground, as expected you could also pop by Nickajack Lake if you're here; it's not far at all. And if you're still looking for more outdoors cool things just keep reading. There's so much to do here at Blue Hole that you need to camp here for a while, Delaney's Travel Trailer       Park is a good spot for that; there's splendid hiking along the Winding Stairs. Warren Creek is a glorious whitewater spot close to Blue Hole; if you're a golfer then a delightful close by course is Sequatchie Valley Golf & Country Club. This lake is so wonderful. A lake nearby is Red Pond; Super 8 Kimball is a pleasant place to get some rest. Don't leave Blue Hole without first going for a hike along the River Mont Cave Historical Trail; visiting Russell Cave                  National Monument is just something you need to do if you haven't yet. Blue Hole gets much water; March is when you get the most rain here, and June is the month with the least moisture. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Blue Hole. When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 60's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 40's, and night lows through the winter for Blue Hole tend to be in the 20's. A great place for whitewater paddling in close proximity to Blue Hole is Miller/Long Island Creek, and Clute Hill can be seen from Blue Hole. This lake is so wonderful.
