    The beauty of Black Pond is reason enough to stop by. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the fun stuff at Black Pond. Big Sink is a perfect location to check out, and if you're looking for some flowing water? Try Flowing Well Branch. This lake is located in the wonderful Cumberland Plateau Mountains.
Black Pond is a rather wet place regularly with a large amount of rain; March is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest month of the year
 
   is October. If you're hooked on cool geologic highlights, try Big Bottom, and dry warm beds await you at Cookeville Knights Inn. This lake is so wonderful. A fine site for whitewater paddling next to Black Pond is Bee Creek, and you might also want to pay a visit to Caney Creek Gulch if you're here at Black Pond.
Having a wonderful time in the Cumberland Plateau Mountains is simple. In case you don’t mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater
 
               paddling on Cain Creek. There's so much to do here at Black Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Spencer Cove RV Park is a splendid place for that. Summertime highs at Black Pond ordinarily tend to be in the 80's. Summer night lows dip down to the 60's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 40's, and overnight lows in the 20's for Black Pond.
