Black Pond is always a pleasure to visit. If you come at the right time of year, Cain Creek offers some brilliant whitewater, and if you're interested in cool geologic marks try Big Bottom. Black Pond is perfect enough to spend more than a day at, Winding Creek Mountain Resort is a perfect local campground, and Big Sink is a fine place to stretch your legs a bit. Be careful coming to Black Pond, you might not ever wanna return back home again. While you're here

| | at Black Pond, you could also stop by pretty Billy Branch Lake, and dry warm beds await you at Super 8 Monterey. A good deal of precipitation falls at Black Pond; the month with most of the rain is March while October is typically the driest month. warm months highs here at Black Pond reach the 80's. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 60's. High temperatures during the wintertime are normally in the 40's, and after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures
at Black Pond dip into the 20's. The Cumberland Plateau Mountains scenery is always beautiful. This lake is so wonderful. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Bee Creek, and a pleasant place to camp here at Black Pond is Spencer Cove RV Park.
