Beautiful Big Ridge Lake has much to offer visitors. Now, you may assume that's loads but there's even more enjoyable things to do here in the Cumberland Plateau Mountains. Take a hike on the Deer Trail, and a fine place is Dark Hollow. And if that's not enough there's a load more cool things to do in the Cumberland Plateau Mountains. Get soaked paddling on Cumberland River - Clear Fork; you can stay the night at Camper Clubs Of America. This lake is so wonderful.

After a long day outdoors Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Clinton (I-75 Ext 122 Hwy 61) is a good location to spend a night or two, and Big Ridge Lake is not far at all from La Follette. Much rain falls at Big Ridge Lake; the wettest month of the year is ordinarily March, that's the one that rains the most while October is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Summertime highs at Big Ridge Lake generally tend to be in | |

the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 60's. All through the winter highs are in the 40's while Big Ridge Lake night low temperatures during the winter are in the 20's.
So much enjoyable stuff to do
at Big Ridge Lake, so little time. A pleasant nearby hotel is Comfort Inn Powell, and it's a splendid idea to take a look at Blue Springs Branch. Big Ridge Lake is one of the lakes here in the Cumberland Plateau Mountains. Have a
splendid hiking adventure along the River Bluff Trail; a journey to Big Ridge Lake wouldn't be complete without taking a look at Cave Spring.
Big Ridge Recreation Dam is an out of the ordinary thing to check out, and Hickory Star is a tremendous campground here.
