Sure, B Lakes is close by. Man, is there heaps of entertaining things to do in the Cumberland Plateau Mountains. Get drenched paddling on Little Fiery Gizzard Creek. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors fun things the       area near Big Creek Lake has to offer. Drift down the rapids of Big Fiery Gizzard Creek in a kayak, and not far from Big Creek Lake you'll hit upon Big Creek Utility Lake which is a gorgeous lake. Big Creek Lake is a wet place that gets lots of rain; March is the wettest month with most rain while October is commonly the driest month. High temperatures at Big Creek Lake during the warm months are in the 80's while night lows are ordinarily in the 60's. The winter                  brings highs down to the 40's, and after the sun is down all through the winter temperatures at Big Creek Lake plunge into the 20's. This lake is one of the great places here in the Cumberland Plateau Mountains. Do check out Big Creek Utility Dam since you're here at Big Creek Lake, and people from McMinnville love to come here.
