If you like lakes and you're in this part of Tennessee you can check out Berry Pond. In the event that you don’t have a problem getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Big Laurel Creek; dry warm beds await you at Jameson Inn Greeneville-Tn. High temperatures at Berry Pond during the days of summer are in the 80's. During the moonlight hours it's usually in the 60's. The winter comes with highs in the 40's with winter lows in the 20's overnight

If you came to camp Davy Crockett Birth Place Park is a splendid place to do that; you can go for a hike on the Scarlet Oak Trail. This lake is so wonderful. and a great location is Campbell Gap. Comfort Inn Greeneville is a glorious place to get some rest, and folks from Greeneville love to come here.
Berry Pond sees pretty high levels of rainfall; May is the month that gets the most
rain; October on the other hand is the driest. Nolichucky River is a great whitewater spot in the neighborhood of Berry Pond; great hiking is available along the Little Jennings Creek Trail. Berry Pond is tremendous enough to spend
more than a day at, Pebble Mountain Family is a tremendous local campground, and why not take a little visit to Little Sinking Creek if you're here.
