What a nice lake Bennett Lake is. You can catch a glimpse of Little Cedar Mountain from Bennett Lake, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Mullens Creek. You simply must like Bennett Lake. A good nearby hotel is Acuff Country Inn; a short journey to Hoge Spring is always worthwhile. This lake is so wonderful. Bennett Lake is good enough to spend more than a day at, Camp On The Lake is a good local campground, and if you come at the right time of year, Little Sequatchie offers some glorious whitewater. There's so much to do here at Bennett Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Hales Bar Resort and Marina is a great site for that, and the Lookout Creek Trail offers hiking at its best. Nearby Bennett Hollow is a splendid place to go if you're at Bennett Lake. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Bennett Lake;
