The beauty of Beaman Lake attracts many people from all around. A great location to camp here at Beaman Lake is Yogi Bear's Jellystone Camp, and drift down the rapids of Little River in a kayak. Summertime highs at Beaman Lake frequently tend to be in the 80's. Summer nighttime lows sink down to the 60's. High temperatures through the wintertime are normally in the 40's; after the sun is down throughout the wintertime temperatures at Beaman Lake plunge into the 20's.

This lake is so wonderful. This is a popular place for people from Knoxville, and a visit to Beaman Lake wouldn't be complete without taking a look at French Broad Shoals. Dry warm
beds await you at Red Carpet Inn Knoxville, and camping at Southlake RV Park is always a tremendous experience. A lake close by is Lake Ottosee; Knoxville-East/Chilhowee Park/Fairgrounds/Zoo Days Inn is a nice place to get some rest.
Going for a hike on the River Bluff Trail is always a nice adventure.
