What a nice lake Bards Lake is. Not far from Bards Lake you get some good water scenery at Bards Dam, and Brandon Spring is always fun to check out. All the water falling down from the sky makes Bards Lake a wet place; the month with most of the rain is December, and October is the month with the least moisture. Lake Barkley State Resort is a great spot to get some rest, and Bards Lake is great enough to spend more than a day at, Lbl Big Pine Campground is a great

At Bards Lake during the warmest time of the year highs are in the 80's. Throughout the moonlight hours it's generally in the 60's. The winter comes with highs in the 40's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Bards Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Buffalo Trail. There's so much to do here at Bards Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Bumpus Mills Campground is a magnificent place | |

for that. So many fun things to do here at Bards Lake, too good to be true. After a long day outdoors Holiday Inn Express Cadiz, Ky is a tremendous spot to spend a night or two.
If you desire a little side trip, try Fox Hollow, and let's not forget Bards Creek which is a stream that you may stumble upon during your stay.
