A great close by hotel is Holiday Inn Express Cadiz, Ky, and a short spree to Brandon Spring is always worthwhile. Camping at Bumpus Mills Campground is always a great experience, and Bards Creek is close to Bards Lake and is always a joy to go to. A pleasant place to camp here at Bards Lake is Lbl Big Pine Campground. This lake is so wonderful. Bards Dam is a place that is near Bards Lake;       needless to say, A spree to Fox Hollow is always fun. While you're here at Bards Lake, you could also check out pretty Rawls Pond; if you need a location to stay Lake Barkley State Resort is a brilliant choice. Bards Lake is a relatively wet place commonly with a large amount of rainfall; December is when you get the most rain here while October is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This is no location for people who don’t like to have a good time.                  Going for a hike along the Buffalo Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood, and Cottrell Ponds is a nearby lake that you could take a look at. Through the warm days of summer at Bards Lake highs are mostly in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 60's.
