     If you need a place to stay Brentwood Franklin Red Roof Inn is a splendid choice, and if you're looking for some flowing water? Try Arrington Creek. Ramada Franklin TN is a great place to get some rest, and camping is available at New Smyrna Campgrounds. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors fun stuff the area close to Ashbaugh Lake has to offer. Burke Hollow is a glorious spot to visit right next door to Ashbaugh Lake, and a pleasant site to camp here  
   at Ashbaugh Lake is Music City Campground. There are some fine whitewater spots on Little Harpeth River.
This lake is so wonderful. Do take a look at Lake Colonial Estates Dam if you're here at Ashbaugh Lake, and Lake Tomlin is a nearby lake that you could explore. You're sure to come across some fine people from Nashville-Davidson—Murfreesboro here; while you're here, you could also stop by pretty Lake Colonial Estates. Ashbaugh Lake is a relatively wet
 
               place usually with a great deal of precipitation; of all the months in a year March is the one with the most rain, and October is when it's the driest.
At Ashbaugh Lake through the summer months highs are in the 80's. Summer night lows fall down to the 60's. Throughout the winter highs are mostly in the 40's while Ashbaugh Lake nighttime low temperatures during the wintertime are in the 20's.
