Arthur Lake is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. Why not visit Arthur Dam since you're here, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always go to nearby Fern Lake. This lake is so wonderful. On a nice day at Arthur Lake you can take a hike along the Chadwell Gap Trail, and from Arthur Lake you get a fine vista of Gobblers Knob. Arthur Lake is a reasonably wet place usually with lots of rain; July is when you get the most

| | rain here; October is when it's the driest.
There's no way someone can get bored here in the Cumberland Plateau Mountains. Wylie Bend is an out of the ordinary place to go to while at Arthur Lake; Cedar Grove Marina and Campground is a perfect campground nearby. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a location to stay Pine Mountain State Resort is a fine choice, and during your trip here you'll meet some people from Middlesborough for sure.

this is for outdoors people. After a long day outdoors Holiday Inn Express Middlesboro, Ky is a brilliant site to spend a night or two It's always wonderful to go to Butchers Spring. Arthur Lake is one of the lakes here in the Cumberland
Plateau Mountains. So many fun things to do in the Cumberland Plateau Mountains, not enough time. Arthur Lake is a splendid place to visit for more than one day, Pennington 33 Bridge Marina is a splendid place to camp nearby, and
a wonderful location is Pine Hill Hollow.
High temperatures at Arthur Lake throughout the summertime are in the 80's. Through the moonlight hours it's ordinarily in the 60's. The winter brings highs down to the 40's while the
cold winter nights at Arthur Lake are in the 20's. While you're here at Arthur Lake you can take a hike along the Ridge Trail, and of course Jordan Branch is a delightful stream that is worth a visit.
