Arthur Lake mostly gets much rainfall; throughout July this area sees the most rain while October is frequently the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes? Sure, Fern Lake is in close proximity; if you need a location to stay Holiday Inn Express Middlesboro, Ky is a nice choice. Arthur Lake is a beautiful lake in the Cumberland Plateau Mountains. For the duration of the warm months here at Arthur Lake, high       temperatures ordinarily get into the 80's; the nighttime is a tad colder of course, typically in the 60's. Through the winter highs are generally in the 40's, and night lows in the 20's for Arthur Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Arthur Lake is pleasant enough to spend more than a day at, Cedar Grove Marina and Campground is a pleasant local campground, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always stop by nearby Fern Lake. So many exciting                  things next to Arthur Lake, absolutely mind-blowing. Here at Arthur Lake you'll probably meet some folks from Middlesborough, and close by you come across the Ridge Trail which is a good hiking trail. This site, the Cumberland Plateau Mountains, has so much outdoors exciting things. It's always fine to explore Butchers Spring, and here at Arthur Lake you can see Gobblers Knob. Going for a hike on the Chadwell Gap Trail is always a pleasant adventure, and Arthur Dam is a striking site, absolutely worth taking a look at. A magnificent site to camp here at Arthur Lake is Pennington 33 Bridge Marina. Pine Mountain State Resort is a perfect spot to get some rest, and some exciting geology is available here, Wylie Bend is right here. So much exciting stuff to do in the Cumberland Plateau Mountains, not enough time.
