Arthur Lake is a beautiful lake in the Cumberland Plateau Mountains. Any time is a delightful time at Arthur Lake if you adore the outdoors. You don’t have to go far from Arthur Lake to spot the water at Arthur Dam, and some of the water close by flows, like Jordan Branch. Lots of rain falls at Arthur Lake; through July this area sees the most rain, and October meanwhile is the driest month. Summertime       highs at Arthur Lake mostly tend to be in the 80's with nighttime lows in the 60's. High temperatures throughout the wintertime are normally in the 40's, and during the dark hours in the winter at Arthur Lake temperatures descend to the 20's. These mountains rock, just explore all the enjoyable things to do in the Cumberland Plateau Mountains. Go for a hike on the Chadwell Gap Trail. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Arthur Lake has to offer,                  you can camp at Lakeview Campground. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Arthur Lake you will meet lots of people from nearby Middlesborough, and going for a hike on the Ridge Trail is always a fine adventure. This lake is so wonderful. Since you're here at Arthur Lake why not go to Pine Hill Hollow. If you want a perfect time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Cumberland Plateau Mountains. Don't leave Arthur Lake without first paying a visit to Butchers Spring; a great nearby hotel is Holiday Inn Express Middlesboro, Ky. Gobblers Knob can be seen from Arthur Lake, and some attention-grabbing geology is available here, Wylie Bend is right here.
