    The beauty of Anderson Lake is reason enough to stop by. Anderson Lake gets a good deal of water; March is the month that gets the most rain; October on the other hand is the driest. Take a little journey to Center Point Branch since you're here at Anderson Lake; during your visit here you'll meet some people from Nashville-Davidson—Murfreesboro for sure.
And if that's not enough, there's a load more to do right next door to Anderson Lake. Lakes are such peaceful
 
   places, why not have a look at Old Hickory Lake near Anderson Lake, and Old Hickory Dam has fine water scenery. You'll find a wonderful lake called Coleman Lake near Anderson Lake, and Goodletteville Koa Kampground is a great campground nearby. Stay the night at Nashville North KOA; a great nearby hotel is Hyatt Place Nashville Northeast Hendersonville.

               night or two; right next door to Anderson Lake you locate a golf course called Springhouse Golf Club at Gaylord Opryland Resort. Summertime highs at Anderson Lake mostly tend to be in the 80's. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 60's. Throughout the winter the highs are usually in the 40's with temperatures at Anderson Lake dipping down into the 20's throughout winter nights.

Two Rivers Campgrounds
Small, well kept campground that is privately owned and operated. Owners on site most of the time. During the season there is free live entertainment two or three nights a weeks. Always free coffee in the office for visitors. Front desk staff is friendly and can help you plan your stay in Nasvhille. Tours and show tickets available at the front desk as well.

No Tent Camping

104 RV sites with water, electric only OR water, electric and sewer.

Pets are allowed but you are required to keep them on a lease and pick up their messes.

Campfires are not allowed unless in a covered container that is off the ground.

There is a convenience store and a gift shop on the premeises.

A full service grocery store (Krogers) is close by.

There is a pool which is open from May thru October. No lifeguard is on duty.

Lesters Lake is no longer there. It was drained years ago after a girl was killed swimming there when she swam into an area inhabited by cottonmouth snakes and was bitten several times....Do you remember swimming at Lesters Lake...1970...?...
