Best Western Albany Garden Inn is a wonderful place to get some rest, and Akers Lake Dam is a place that is near Akers Lake. That right there is loads of enjoyable stuff already but it goes on, the Cumberland Plateau Mountains has it all. is available at Deep Valley Recreational Vehicle Park. Akers Lake is a wet location that gets a large amount of rainfall; March is when you get the most rain here while October is typically the driest month. This lake is so wonderful.
There's some flowing water nearby, Huffakre Fork is a stream you can have a look at during your stay, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always visit close by Dale Hollow Lake. Be careful coming to the Cumberland
Plateau Mountains, you might not ever wanna go home again. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Obey River - East Fork; a glorious place to camp here at Akers Lake is Deep Valley Park.

 | 2 PHOTOS Catching Dinner... Fun in the Pool... ...m Brydstown, Tn. and points North East Rt 111 South 18 miles. Turn right on RT 294 . Follow this road for 6 miles. to the first gas station- theTriple D. There is a large Deep Valley sign which you are welcome to stop & admire. Turn left on Allons-Oakley Rd. Proceed 1 1/4 mile. Turn right at the two very old barns. This is Hunter Cove. Campground is 1 mile on the right. (See note below)
