The high level of precipitation makes Ackers Lake a relatively wet place; of all the months in a year March is the one with the most rain, and October meanwhile is the driest month. Throughout the summer, highs frequently are in the 80's at Ackers Lake with overnight lows in the 60's. All through the winter highs are in the 40's, and after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Ackers Lake plunge into the       20's. Very nice water scenery is available at Old Lock and Dam Number Four near Ackers Lake, and while you're here, you could stop at Dry Fork Branch. This lake is so wonderful. Ackers Lake is a nice location to visit for more than one day, Ebaneezer Campground is a nice location to camp nearby, and if you get bored of Ackers Lake you could also check out nearby Kirkpatrick Lake. Drift down the rapids of Bledsoe Creek in a kayak, and Comfort Inn Gallatin                  is a pleasant location to get some rest.
