Camping at Ackers Lake is good fun, Shady Cove Resort is a good local campground, and there are some fine whitewater spots on Bledsoe Creek. This lake is so wonderful. If you came for an overnight stay Ebaneezer Campground       is a brilliant spot to camp, and Dry Fork Branch is one of the streams nearby that might be worth stopping at. If you need a spot to stay Jameson Inns is a nice choice; you can take a little journey to Old Lock and Dam Number Four while you're here at Ackers Lake. You simply have to adore Ackers Lake. The fine people of Nashville-Davidson—Murfreesboro like to hang out nearby. The high level of rainfall makes Ackers Lake a reasonably wet spot; March is                  the wettest month with most rain, and October is the month with the least moisture. Summertime highs at Ackers Lake usually tend to be in the 80's. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 60's.
