Why not stop by Woodville Lake if you're passing through these parts. Woodville Lake is a location that is reasonably dry usually; through June this area sees the most rain, and the driest of the months is January. Spearfish Creek has a good whitewater paddling spot close by, and Woodville Lake sits in the shade of the Woodville Hills. lake is so wonderful. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Woodville Lake; Rapid Creek Trail is a splendid local trail; if you came for an overnight stay Recreational Springs is a good location to camp. This lake is so wonderful.
Dry warm beds await you at Deadwood Super 8 Motel, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Rim Rock Trail. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors exciting stuff the Black Hills has to offer. Black Hills Inn & Suites
is a good location to get some rest, and there are plenty of people from Spearfish here. The Black Hills scenery is always beautiful. A lake close by is Dry Lake Pond, and an afternoon playing golf at Tomahawk Country Club is always a bliss.

 | Been here more than I can count. The kids always love feeding the fish (trout ponds). The food is delicious. For a really good time, fish for your dinner. It's guaranteed fresh(you caught it) & they cook it up for you or pack it to go. A really nice campground with nice people running it. Very Clean....Excellent Campsite! Highly recommended and they even have onsite breakfast, lunch and dinner available on a cabin like cafe sitting on their own little pond. Very quiet and peaceful setting even during the Rally (as quiet as you can expect :)) ... |
