If you are in Lawrence county it's always a good idea to stop by Woodville Lake. Woodville Lake is a beautiful lake in the Black Hills. At Woodville Lake you can catch a glimpse of Woodville Hills, and going for a hike on the Rapid Creek Trail is always a wonderful adventure. Having a wonderful time in the Black Hills is easy. A day on the slopes of Terry Peak is just what you need, and if you come at the right time of year, Spearfish Creek offers some magnificent

Summer at Woodville Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 80's, and the night is slightly colder of course, commonly in the 50's. Through the winter this place gets highs in the 30's; after the sun is down all through the winter temperatures at Woodville Lake descend into the 10's. Not much precipitation falls here at Woodville Lake; the wettest month of the year is ordinarily June, that's the one that rains the most, and January meanwhile | |

is the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Tomahawk Country Club is a golf course right next door to Woodville Lake; dry warm beds await you at Deadwood Super 8 Motel.
At Woodville Lake you always meet someone from Spearfish,
and this is a great location in the shadow of the Woodville Hills. But wait, there's more exciting stuff to do in the Black Hills. Reno Creek is a beautiful stream that is worth visiting, and there are pleasant locations to discover
along the Rim Rock Trail.
This lake is so wonderful. There is a nice hiking trail in close proximity to Woodville Lake called the Big Hill Ski Trail; camping at Deadwood Gulch Resort is always a great experience. And that's not
all you can do here at Woodville Lake. If you need a site to stay Best Western Hickok House is a magnificent choice, and if you came to camp Deer Mountain Campground is a perfect location to do that.
