Custom Search     Lake Whitewood     Lake Whitewood is a pretty 7 square mile lake. DeSmet Super Deluxe Inn & Stes is a fine spot to get some rest; you'll meet a lot of folks from Lake Preston here. This lake is so wonderful. A pleasant trip to Lake Preston Lakebed is a perfect way to spend an afternoon. There are other spots here than Lake Whitewood, for example Lake Thompson. Lake Thompson Recreation Area is a good place to stretch your legs a bit. Dry warm beds await you at Super 8 Madison;     Lake Norden is a magnificent lake nearby. Lake Whitewood gets very little precipitation.
