Wall Lake is ordinarily a rather waterless spot; the month with most of the rain is June; January is the month with the least moisture. There are some good whitewater spots on Big Sioux River, and Wall Lake is tremendous enough to spend more than a day at, Red Barn Campground is a tremendous local campground. During the summer months, highs regularly are in the 80's at Wall Lake, and during summer nights temperatures       are in the 60's. Through the winter this place gets highs in the 20's; during the dark hours in the wintertime at Wall Lake temperatures sink to the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. Wall Lake is not far at all from Sioux Falls, and after a long day outdoors Towneplace Suites By Marriott Sioux Falls is a wonderful site to spend a night or two. If you came to camp Kamp Dakota is a wonderful spot to do that.
