Ventling Reservoir is located in the Black Hills. So many exciting things in the Black Hills, just inspiring. If you need a site to stay State Game Lodge VA is a glorious choice, and nearby you discover the Sunday Gulch Trail which is a glorious hiking trail. This lake is so wonderful. And that's not all you can do here in the Black Hills. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always take a look       at nearby Ward Reservoir; Ventling Reservoir is splendid enough to spend more than a day at, Echo Valley Park is a splendid local campground. Summertime at Ventling Reservoir comes with high temperatures in the 80's, and all through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Highs during the winter are regularly in the 30's, and night lows during the winter for Ventling Reservoir tend to be in the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at                  Ventling Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Custer's Gulch RV Park and Campground is a good place for that; a journey to Jewel Cave National Monument is worthwhile. Not much precipitation falls here at Ventling Reservoir; the wettest month of the year is usually June, that's the one that rains the most while January is typically the driest month. Not far from Ventling Reservoir, you'll stumble on Lake of the Pines which is a pretty lake; going for a hike on the Lost Cabin Trail is always a great adventure. What a spot this is for outdoors people. If you desire a little side spree, try Ninemile Draw; you can go for a hike on the Paha Sapa Trail.
