This lake is so wonderful. The good folks of Yankton like to hang out nearby, and after a long day outdoors Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Yankton, Sd is a delightful place to spend a night or two. Dry warm beds await you at Yankton - Days Inn, and if you came for an overnight stay Lewis and Clark Recreational Area is a glorious place to camp. Summertime highs at Ulmer Lake regularly tend to be in the 80's. When the       night sets in temperatures dip down into the 60's. All through the wintertime the highs are regularly in the 20's while Ulmer Lake nighttime low temperatures during the wintertime are in the 0's.
